Mystery and Magic (June 29-July 2)

As garden detectives, we will explore the clues left by a wide range of visitors who live around and pass through the garden. Whether above our heads or below our feet, we’ll discover the abundance of living creatures with whom we share this bountiful garden edged by wild landscape.

Garden Games (July 6-9)

Garden movement and games provide energy for our bodies and awareness and mindfulness to the plants and animals around us. We’ll explore the natural world through fun and engaging activities that bring the garden to life with fun! Bring your running shoes and camouflage clothes as we discover nature in new and exciting ways.

Pollinators (July 13-16)

As the summer days heighten to their peaks, so too does the vibration of wing beats and tiny legs scurrying around the garden to drink the sweet nectar from our flowering fields. We will investigate the many faces, forms, and habitats of our pollinator friends throughout the garden and beyond.

Ethnobotany (July 20-23)

We will journey through ancient historic time to discover the ways people lived symbiotically with the land. We’ll explore weaving pine needle baskets, crafting with clay, and foraging for wild foods while we deepen our relationship with the land by engaging with skills and crafts of those who have come before us.

Artistic Chefs (July 27- 30)

The garden is one of the best places to let our imaginations unfurl like the very leaves and flowers we so graciously tend to. We will celebrate and express our imaginations through food related art projects and attune our senses to the fine flavors and aromas abounding in the summer garden. We will craft our own masterpiece using our very own garden ingredients which will culminate in a garden luncheon on the final day.
